Mr. Beaton has been honing his craft over the past 4 decades and has a special expertise in helping attorneys craft trial themes and witnesses explain complex information. He has conducted several hundred mock trials, nearly 200 large-scale jury-profiling studies, worked with several hundred witnesses, and helped to select over 500 juries. Ron specializes in complex contract litigation, product liability, and medical malpractice litigation.

Ron utilizes pre-trial jury research to provide clients with feedback on the case’s themes, strategies, evidence and witnesses as well as on their presentation style. These pre-trial research services include focus groups and mock trials for case evaluation and community attitude surveys for the construction of jury selection profiles. He also develops voir dire questions, drafts and analyzes pre-trial questionnaires, and attends jury selection to provide immediate advice and recommendations.

A highly regarded speaker and presenter, Ron is often called upon to share his case experience and expertise in a variety of educational venues. He has spoken on such topics as identifying and understanding juror perceptions; tips on selecting the jury; juror reactions to witnesses; and myths, trends, and truths of jury dynamics.
